Image 1 is a photo of a much older photo of early times in Taipei; the people are performing community calisthenics, but it struck me more like a pose from the last line of a musical number. That, or they're all cheering "Hooray!" or "萬歲!" (wan cui) as they say here.
Image 2 and 3 were both taken by Brent in different places in Taiwan: the first is near the tomb of Chiang Kai-shek and the second is near Shifen Waterfall.
